About

Other than operating, I love to teach and have trained many a surgeons in basic and advanced laparoscopic surgeries. I have been fortunate to share my experiences and laparoscopic skills with surgeons from other countries too.

I love music, and by God’s grace, I can play almost all musical instruments, like the saxophone, flute, harmonica, piano, drums, guitar etc. I am a fitness freak. I have been weight training for the last 25 years and have been practicing an Israeli form of self defence called ‘Krav Maga’.

The Team
Bariatric Support Group : "Peters' Lounge"
  • We run a very special support group called "PETERS' LOUNGE" where all our operated patients meet and share their personal experiences.

It provides an excellent opportunity to discuss their various personal and other issues. It's an informal group where we all share, play and have lots of fun. It's one of its kind in the country and done regularly, to welcome the new members of our Bariatric family.

  • Our Support group is not only facilitated by Dr Atul Peters himself but also by our registered certified dietitian. It’s an open forum where one can seek to find answers to questions and concerns around weight loss surgery and resolution of diabetes and meet each other to support and successfully overcome their condition and take charge of their health.
